New Community In Lakewood Ranch Breaks Ground
Neal Communities Breaks Ground On Central Park.
Neal Communities recently broke ground on several model homes in its latest community, Central Park in Lakewood Ranch. The community of about 800 homes located east of Lakewood Ranch Blvd. will open July, 2010. Around 200-300 people are working in the community on any given day to meet the summer opening deadline. Immediately following the ground breaking Neal Communities hosted a reception for prospective new subcontractors and key vendors who have partnered with the company, some dating back 40 years.
“We are completely optimistic about the future of Central Park and Lakewood Ranch,” states Pat Neal, president of Neal Communities. “We are confident the timing is ideal for this kind of community that is attractively priced with superior quality and design. Plus, we are building this community with cash and have no bank debt.”
Neal Communities has started construction on three models ranging from 1,518 to 2,138 sq ft. Soon Neal Communities will break ground on more model homes that range from 1,162 to 1,509 sq ft. Each floor plan and style has been popular in other Neal Communities, especially River Sound, which opened in February, 2009 and is more than half sold out.
Site work has been going on for the last six months. All infrastructure is in place; water, sewer, streets, and curbs, in addition to much of the landscaping. The 312-acre community will meet the standards of the Florida Green Building Coalition as a “green-certified” community.
