Gloria Musicae Presents Voices Of The Holocaust. On April 28, 2014 at 7:30pm the Van Wezel plays host to Gloria Musicae’s Florida premiere of Voices of the Holocaust. Since 2002, Sarasota County voters have approved an extra 1-mill of funding that has made critical differences in student performance. Spay Day Event Appeals To Veterinary Community. February 25, 2014 is World Spay Day, and the Venice Cat Coalition has organized a quad-county event to celebrate by promoting more spaying and neutering for local cats and dogs in Sarasota, Charlotte, Lee, and DeSoto counties. Veterinarians and animal welfare groups in this area agreed to donate approximately 200 surgeries for cats and dogs this year. World Spay Day is a national campaign sponsored by the Humane Society of the United States and Humane Society International. Cat Depot announced that Corey Roscoe, Volunteer and Education Manager at Cat Depot, will present on behalf of the Florida Association of Animal Welfare Organizations (FAAWO) at the 2014 Florida Animal Control Association Conference. Suncoast Workforce is hosting a FREE Veterans and their Families Jobs and Services Fair, February 7, 2014 at Ed Smith Stadium. 80+ employers and service organizations will be on hand looking for qualified applicants.
