Daylight Savings Time Can Be Dangerous! Did you set your clocks back? At 5pm virtually everyone is awake. Far more people are active at 7pm than are at 7am. Not just a minor inconvenience to your sleep cycles and busy schedule there are ramifications. Adding an hour of sunlight in the evening year-round would save the lives of more than 170 pedestrians annually. The lives of nearly 200 vehicle occupants could also theoretically be saved by not making the change. For the first couple weeks even though it is dark you are reacting like it is light. Be careful.
