4th Of July Boat Races Raise Over $100,000 For Suncoast Charities For Children. A recent report conducted by Research Data Market Research revealed that this year’s 34th Annual HotelPlanner Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix Festival contributed $21.9 Million in economic impact to the area, supported an estimated 14,800 room nights, and generated direct expenditures totaling $9.4 Million. Net proceeds totaling slightly over $100,000 were also raised for Suncoast Charities for Children, who produce the Grand Prix Festival and July 4th Bayfront Fireworks. LWR Block Party To Benefit Taylor Emmons Scholarship Fund. Music on Main will be held this Friday, September 7, 2018 from 6:00-9:00PM on Main Street in Lakewood Ranch.
