Steve Mittleman Stand Up Comedy At Its Best Interview by Ed Bertha When LA’s Comedy Store hosted auditions for Steve Martin’s film ‘Roxanne’, dozens of great comics, Steve Mittleman included, faced a professional’s worst enemy, lack of time to prepare. The Store also had a limited number of spots for auditions. Steve stopped by anyway, someone cancelled, and he got the shot. After the auditions, the film’s producers asked for only one comedian they’d seen that evening. Suncoast Powerboat Grand Prix Festival Continues To Grow By Ed Bertha & Lucy Nicandri “As the purse is emptied, the heart is filled” Victor Hugo A recent Economic Impact Report released by Visit Sarasota County indicated that this year’s 31st Annual Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix Festival generated an economic impact of $32 Million dollars for the local area, an increase over $26 Million in 2014. Direct expenditures also showed an increase from $17 Million to $20 Million. Basketball Star’s Mansion Sees $1.145 Million Price Drop At Re-list. Michael Jordan’s 56,000 sq ft mansion in Highland Park, IL has just reentered the market with another price cut and the new $1.145 million price drop brings the asking price down to $14.855 million. His suburban compound with seven acres it is now priced at half of the $29 million asking price it had when it first listed in 2012. In January 2013 the home saw an $8 million price reduction.

Actor/Actress Couple Lists French Quarter $6.5 Million. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are selling their mansion in the famous French Quarter. They purchased the home in 2007 for $3.5 million, after spending time working on recovery efforts after Hurricane Katrina. The 7,645-square-foot home is listed for $6.5 million. The property is an 1830’s masonry home with a grand spiral staircase, custom marble mantels, and an elevator. There are no interior pictures available.
