SAS Owner Jesse White Opens New Showroom. Sarasota Architectural Salvage (SAS) owner Jesse White recently opened a new showroom at 5265 University Parkway, Unit 105, Sarasota (Kohls location). White founded SAS in 2003 and the new location represents a departure from the company’s long standing 15 year history of warehouse operations as the new location is in a shopping center. Giuseppe Verdi Returns To Sarasota Opera. The last time Sarasota Opera performed Nabucco, the work that solidified Verdi’s reputation as an opera composer, was in 1995. The production was part of the company’s historic 28-year Verdi Cycle, a feat that made Sarasota Opera the only company in the world to have performed all of Verdi’s music.
