But she was much more than the gracious hostess of Ca’ d’Zan, her Sarasota mansion. HD Season To Include Productions From Around the World. Sarasota Opera announces the line-up for the 2015 season of “HD at the Opera House”. This series, which debuted in 2014 and more than quadrupled its projected income goal in its first year, has allowed Sarasota Opera to expand its programming from the fall and winter season to year-around. Sarasota Chamber Holds Hob Nob. The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce will host the 14th annual Hob Nob at Ed Smith Stadium. The event is the chamber’s largest networking event of the year. All Faiths Food Bank Campaign Kicks Off Today. All Faiths Food Bank launches its Campaign Against Summer Hunger today. The campaign runs through May 9th, coinciding with the day of the National Letter Carriers Food Drive. More than 21,000 Sarasota County students are eligible for free and reduced lunches that aren’t otherwise available during the summer months. All Faiths Food Bank is located at 8171 Blaikie Court in Sarasota. www.allfaithsfoodbank.org
