When the Ringling Museum of Art’s Beyond Bling: Voices of Hip-Hop in Art exhibit ends, the artwork of Vince Fraser, Bling Pop and Work and Play, moves to Westfield Southgate Shopping Mall where they will be auctioned off in the “Bling it Home” event benefiting the Sarasota Film Festival and Habitat for Humanity Sarasota. Bidding starts at $5,000.

April 4, 2011 REAL Magazine and The Ritz-Carlton Members Club will hold a charity golf event to benefit the United Way’s Realtors for Kids fund. With unemployment running in excess of the national average it is even more important to support this children’s cause.
For over 60 years, United Way has made a tremendous impact on the well-being of area residents. With a focus on providing support and education to help individuals better their lives, the organization offers a wealth of resources through an extended network of partnerships.
