As Co-Chair I encourage you to join us June 30th at the Sarasota Yacht Club from 6-10pm as we KICK OFF the 31st Annual Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix week. Proceeds from this event benefit Suncoast Charities for Children. Other than the golf tournament, on June 27th at the Meadows Country Club, these are the only two events that raise money for the charity. But she was much more than the gracious hostess of Ca’ d’Zan, her Sarasota mansion. HD Season To Include Productions From Around the World. Sarasota Opera announces the line-up for the 2015 season of “HD at the Opera House”. This series, which debuted in 2014 and more than quadrupled its projected income goal in its first year, has allowed Sarasota Opera to expand its programming from the fall and winter season to year-around.
